Dev is back in his feild with a new film Tonic

Dev is back again in his field with a new film Tonic. Tonic's story is based on the story of fulfilling the wishes of an old couple. It's a fully family drama film. The couple is Jaladhar Sen(Paran Bandopadhyay) and his wife(Shakuntala Barua).Jaladhar is a 75 years aged man. He lives with his son, his daughter-in-law, and his granddaughter. Sujan Mukhopadhyay will be seen as Jaladhar's son. Sujan's character is very strict and over possessive. His over-possessive character interferes with his parents' wishes. Jaladhar is happy about his son's behavior with little regret.

Jaladhar Sen's son celebrates his wedding anniversary in a grand way. But he planned his parents 50th marriage anniversary to be just a small get together. They decide that they will go on a foreign trip or somewhere in India like Darjeeling. Tonic comes into their life as a tour guide. But the tour plane got canceled due to Jaladhar babu's illness. However, Tonic became an asceticism in their life. Tonic solves their family issues as tonic fix problems of the body. This brings a happy tide in Jaladhar Babu's life and the whole family becomes filled with happiness.

Dev will be seen in the role of Tonic in this film, One of the most talented actresses Tanushree Chakraborty also stars along with Dev. Before this, Tanushree and Dev have been seen together in Buno Hansh directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary in 2014.Tonic movie directed by Abhijit  Sen and produced by Atanu Roy Chowdhary & Pranab Kumar Guha with banner Bengal Talkies associate with Dev Entertainment Ventures.
