Finally, the time has come. Once again audience will be able to see Dev and Rukmini's Jodi on screen. Dev has confirmed that his film Kishmish will hit the theaters in this Durga Puja 2021. Dev and Rukmini's Jodi was last seen in Kamaleshwar Mukherjee's directed film Password in 2019. Once again the Jodi is back on the floor. Kishmish film was supposed to be released in Durgapuja 2020. But it couldn't possible due to the pandemic.
Apart from Dev and Rukmini, Kishmish film also stars Kharaj Mukherjee, Kamaleswar Mukherjee, and Anjana Basu in the lead roles. Besides acting Dev also producing the film with Gurupada Adhikari. Kishmish film directed by Rahul Mukherjee. Earlier Rahul Mukherjee directed a film title Ami Sairabanu but unfortunately, the film has not released yet.
Kishmish is a romantic comedy film. Dev will be seen in triple role for the first time, which makes the audience more interested. The film also features 2D animation. Even, the first promo of the film was an animated promo that was released on Valentine's Day. The film has three different timelines. One of them belongs to a political angel. The timeline shows three different looks of Dev, The first one is the current time, the second one shows the atmosphere of 2000' and the third one will show the culture of 1980'. For the first time, this kind of concept will be seen in the Bengali film industry. If everything goes well, the audience will be able to see Dev and Rukmini's Kishmish in theaters on this Durga Puja 2021.
