Ashmita Chakraborty to be seen in new tv serial 'Khelna Bari'

Actress Ashmita Chakraborty has become a familiar face to the Bengali audience by playing the role of Riya in the Bhaggolokkhi serial. She has been seen in various roles in several tv series. This time the bubbly actress will be seen in a new tv serial. She recently joined the cast of the brand new serial 'Khelna Bari' which will premiere on 16th May on Zee Bangla.

Biswajit Ghosh and Aratrika Maity will be seen as the lead pair in the serial where Ashmita Chakraborty will play a key role alongside them. Biswajit Ghosh was last seen on screen and become one of the most popular stars among Bengali serial lovers by playing Param in 'Ke Apon Ke Por' opposite Pallavi Sharma. After a long hiatus, his fans will be able to see him on the screen where Aratrika Maity will be paired with him.

In the serial, Biswajit Ghosh will play the role of Indrajit Lahiri, a successful businessman. He has a tragic past as his first marriage failed miserably. The bitter past has turned him into a man who does not believe in women and he hides his emotions from everyone. On the other hand, Agnishikha fame Aratrika Maity will play the role of Mitul a jolly girl who sells toys to earn life.

Ashmita Chakraborty was last seen on screen in Debchandrima Singha Roy and Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh starrer serial Sanjher Baati. She has acted in several roles in Bangla TV series. She earned popularity by playing Riya in Bhaggolokkhi serial. She has also acted in the mythological show 'Mongolchondi' which was aired on Colors Bangla.
