Debasree Roy Starrer serial 'Sarbojaya' will end soon

Bangla general entertainment channels are bringing new shows and on the other hand, many ongoing dramas are closing down before the expectation. Over the last few days, news has spread in the industry that the serial Sarbojaya starring Debasree Roy will end soon. And the serial is going off-air due to not getting adequate TRP. Actress Debasree Roy is seen playing a character on screen after 10 years. After a long time, the Bengali audience can see the veteran actress on the screen through this series. Debasree Roy made her come back on screen with Zee Bangla serial Sarbojaya where actor Kushal Chakraborty is seen opposite Debasree Roy as her husband.

Sarbojaya serial aired its first episode on 9th August 2021, it's only been nine months and the makers have decided to close the show. Actress Debasree Roy's come-back on-screen created a huge buzz among the fans and increased the level of excitement for the show. Although the Sarbojaya serial initially received a good response from viewers, over time the show failed to retain its charm and TRP tends to decrease. The series will close before completion of one year. The last episode of Sarbojaya serial will be aired on 14th May 2022. 

The story of the series revolves around Jaya aka Sarbojaya Chowdhury who belongs to a simple middle-class family. She married Sanjay (Kushal Chakraborty), a rich businessman with a gold heart. After her marriage, she is humiliated by her in-laws for her middle-class attitude but is always supported by her husband and her daughter. Sarbojoya loves dancing and reading novels, but she is prevented from doing these. Apart from Debasree Roy and Kushal Chakraborty, the series also stars Moumita Gupta, Supriyo Dutta, Dipankar De, Sanghamitra Talukder, Swagata Mukherjee, and other skilled artists.
