Pallavi Dey death case: It's not a suicide says Pallavi's parents

Pallavi Dey's drastic step and sudden death have saddened everyone. On Sunday morning, she was found dead at her home where she lived with her lover Sagnik as they were in a live-in relationship. The mysterious death of Pallavi has shocked everyone. Pallavi's parents claim that their daughter cannot commit suicide. Pallavi's father said that he is 90% sure that this is not a suicide case. Pallavi's father further claimed that Sagnik used to argue with Pallavi and beat her. Pallavi's colleagues also saw signs of beating.

Meanwhile, the police of Garfa police station have started the investigation, and Pallavi's boyfriend Sagnik has been taken into police custody. Police are questioning Sagnik and trying to find out what happened between them on Saturday (14th May) night and Sunday (15th May) morning. Sagnik admitted that he had a quarrel with Pallavi on Saturday night. The next morning Sagnik went out to smoke, he returned and saw that the door of the room was locked from the inside. He broke down the door of the room and saw Pallavi's hanging body from the ceiling fan. And Sagnik himself informed the local police.

Amid this, many questions are being raised about the character of Pallavi's lover Sagnik. When Pallavi went to her shooting, Sagnik would bring a woman home and the girl was none other than Pallavi's friend. Pallavi's father claims that Sagnik is married. Despite having a wife, Sagnik was in a live-in relationship with Pallavi, and Sagnik's mother knew the whole thing. Many are claiming that this love affair was actually ‘toxic’. That is why Pallavi had to lose her life at such a young age. For now, the police of Garfa police station have arrested Sagnik. Preliminary autopsy reports say it was a suicide. However, police officials declined to comment until a full autopsy report was received.
