Actor Rohit Bose Roy who is mostly known for his work in Hindi television series and films will play a key role in Jeet Starrer new Bengali action film Chengiz. The film will also have Susmita Chatterjee and Shataf Figar in pivotal roles alongside Jeet and Rohit Bose Roy. This is not the first time for Rohit Bose Roy. Prior to Chengiz, he has acted in several Bengali films like Achena Atithi, Bhorer Alo, Mrs. Sen, etc. Achena Atithi was released in  1997 where his co-stars were Suman Ranganathan, Sharad Kapoor, Rakhee Gulzar, and Ashok Kumar. Achena Atithi was a blockbuster hit at that time. The film was simultaneously shot in Hindi as Ankhon Mein Tum Ho. After a long time, Rohit Bose Roy will be seen again in a Bengali film where his co-stars are Jeet, Susmita Chatterjee, and Shataf Figar. 

In Chengiz, Rohit Bose Roy will play the role of Samir Sinha, a rough and tough police officer. Recently he has shared his first look for Chengiz. Taking to Twitter, he shared his new look as ACP Samir Sinha and penned in the caption 'Aa raha hun… ek nayi kahani lekar #ACPsamirsinha #chengiz'. (sic) In the photo, he is seen wearing a casual shirt and pant, holding a gun in his hand and looking strong and determined as a cop.

Well, Jeet and the entire team have enjoyed the Mahurat moments of Chengiz. Director Rajesh Ganguly will direct the film. Actress Susmita Chatterjee will be the leading lady in the film and will be paired with superstar Jeet for the first time. The film will show the culture and atmosphere of 90's Kolkata where some major events of that time will be revealed.
