Rooqma Roy to make her debut in Tathagata Mukherjee's film 'Gopone Mod Charan'

Tathagata Mukherjee who is one of the well-known faces in the Bengali tv industry is going to make a film titled 'Gopone Mod Charan'. For the first time, Tathagata Mukherjee is going to give a experience of single shot film to the Bengali audience. Earlier, he has directed Unicorn, Bhotboti, and several music videos. This time Tathagata Mukherjee is going to make a film in a single shot that has never been seen before in the Bengali Entertainment industry.

Actress Rooqma Ray who is also one of the most popular actresses among the Bengali audience is going to make her debut with Tathagata Mukherjee's film 'Gopone Mod Charan'. Prior to this, Rooqma has shared screen with Tathagata Mukherjee in the teledrama 'Desher Maati' where she played Tathagata's reel sister. This time Rooqma is starred under Tathagata's direction. Rooqma Roy will be the leading lady in the film. Apart from Rooqma Roy, the film also stars, Soham Majumdar, Soumya Mukherjee, and Rishav Basu in key roles. Actress Megha Chowdhury who is mostly seen in Telugu and Tamil films is going to make her debut in Bengali films with Tathagata Mukherjee's film 'Gopone Mod Charan'. The film will also have Samrat Mukerji, Pushan Dasgupta, and Aishwarya Sen in pivotal roles. 

Speaking about the film, it revolves around three young boys where we see Soham Majumdar, Soumya Mukherjee, and Rishav Basu. The three youngsters go in search of drinks though they are already drunk. The three of them go in three directions to find the drinks and several events happen. It will be a dark comedy that also has a political angle. If everything goes according to plan, Tathagata Mukherjee will start shooting for the film in June.
