Actor Raimohan Parida found dead at home

Veteran actor Raimohan Parida who was mostly known for playing negative characters on screen found dead. Today (24th June) morning, Raimohan Parida's hanging body was found from his residence in Prachi Vihar area of Bhubaneswar. After a preliminary investigation, police said Raimohan Parida may have committed suicide. Why this versatile actor took this step is still unknown. Police have sent his body for autopsy. Parida’s neighbors said they met him on Thursday (23rd June) and he appeared his usual self, and that he had a good relationship with everyone.

Although he was popular for his performance in Odia Films, he has been seen in several Bengali films besides Odia movies. Parida has acted in over 100 Odia films and 15 Bengali movies. He was also very popular among theater lovers. He acted in several superhit movies like Rama Laxman, Aasibu Kebe Saji Mo Rani, Naga Panchami, Udandi Sita, Tu Thile Mo Dara Kahaku, Rana Bhumi, Singha Bahini, Kulanandan and Kandhei Aakhire Luha. Raimohan Parida was one of the most popular on-screen villains in the Odia Film Industry.
