| Ankitaa Chakraborty pairing up with Rahul Ganguly in TV serial Indrani |
Actress Ankitaa Chakraborty who was recently in the headlines for her marriage to Prantik Bannerje is back on the shooting floor. She will soon be seen in a new mega-series titled Indrani. Ankitaa Chakraborty will play the titular role in the show that will be aired on another popular entertainment channel Colors Bangla.
Ankitaa Chakraborty will be the leading lady in the new mega-show Indrani where she will be paired with Rahul Ganguly. While Ankitaa Chakraborty is a well-known face among the Bengali audiences Rahul Ganguly is going to make his debut with the serial. Rahul Ganguly is a professional fashion model who has been seen in various commercials. Ankitaa Chakraborty was last seen on screen with Jeetu Kamal in Zee Bangal Cinema Oiriginals film 'Flat Theke Paliye'.
Speaking about the new serial Indrani, it has an interesting storyline where we will see a love story that proves age doesn't matter in love. The story revolves around Indrani (Ankitaa) and Aditya (Rahul). Indrani is in her 40s has a teenage daughter, and works in a hospital as Chief Administrative Officer. Indrani is an honest and disciplined woman who single-handedly takes care of her family in the absence of her husband and works front as well. On the other hand Aditya, a doctor by profession and younger than Indrani works in the same hospital but is short-tempered. The story takes a turn when destiny brings Indrani and Aditya close to each other. Will Indrani and Aditya be able to start a relationship despite Indrani's bitter past? or superstitions about the relationship between an older woman and a young guy will become a barrier to their relationship is the crux of the story.
