Popular Bengali actress Basabdatta Chatterjee is blessed with a baby girl. She gave birth to a daughter in a private hospital in Kolkata. Basabdatta's husband Anirban Biswas shared the good news with the world on Facebook. Anirban Biswas recently shared a picture with the new mommy and shared about their new family member. He mentioned 'Welcome Princess'. Sharing the picture Anirban penned in the caption, 'Hello world! Introducing our bunch of love. It's BABY GIRL. 

His post has been flooded with well wishes. Everyone congratulates the new parents. Basabdatta Chatterjee likes to keep her personal life under wraps. She even kept herself away from the limelight during her pregnancy. In 2018, Basabdatta Chatterjee tied the knot with Anirban Biswas who is a journalist by profession. It's a love marriage for Basabdatta Chatterjee and Anirban Biswas'. 

Speaking about Basabdatta Chatterjee's work life, she made her television debut with Ganer Opaarey serial where she played Damini alongside Arjun Chakrabarty and Mimi Chakraborty. She acted in many popular television dramas like Durga Durgotinashini, Goyenda Ginni, Taranath Tantrik, Prothoma Kadambini, etc. She has also worked in Bengali films. Basabdatta made her Big screen debut with Aditya Vikram Sengupta's film Asha Jaoar Majhe in 2014. She has been a part of several Bengali films like Sraboner Dhara, Rawkto Rawhoshyo, and Torulatar Bhoot. She has recently been seen in Parambrata Chatterjee's film Abhijaan where she played a key role alongside prominent actors like Jisshu Sengupta and Paoli Dam.
