Bengali Television is going to welcome yet another new drama series for serial lovers. A popular general entertainment channel is going to launch a new drama series for its subscribers. Another general entertainment channel Zee Bangla recently announced a new drama series titled Jagaddhatri. The new show will have Soumyadeep Mukherjee along with a new talent named Ankita Mallick.

TV show Jagaddhatri features Soumyadeep Mukherjee and Ankita Mallick in the lead roles where Ankita Mallick will play the titular role and Soumyadeep will be seen opposite her. While Soumyadeep Mukherjee is already known, Ankita Mallick is a new face to the audience. The model-turned-actress is going to make her television debut with this series. The new daily soap Jagaddhatri will have a fresh pair of Soumyadeep Mukherjee and Ankita Mallick.

Recently, the channel launched the first promo of Jagaddhatri and it received an enthusiastic response from the audience. The protagonist of the series will be seen in the role of a secret cop. The promo begins by showing a family event where everyone is preparing for Jagaddhatri Puja. It takes a sudden turn with a phone message and we see Jagaddhatri (Ankita) and her childhood friend (Soumyadeep) saving a child from kidnappers.
