Actress Aindrila Sharma, a two-time cancer survivor, died on Sunday (20th November) at a hospital in Kolkata, where she was undergoing treatment after suffering a brain stroke on November 1. She was at 24.

The actress suffered a sudden brain stroke on Tuesday (1st November). She was rushed to a private hospital in Howrah and the actress was found to be suffering from intracranial hemorrhage. On Tuesday (November 15), the hospital reported, the scan report showed that Aindrila had blood clots on the opposite side of the surgery in her head. The doctors said that new antibiotics have already been introduced for the actress instead of the previous medicine. The doctors also said that it is not possible to operate on the newly formed blood clots. The new 'blood clots' are so small that they can only be reduced with medicine.

On Wednesday (November 16), Aindrila suffered multiple cardiac arrests and her condition deteriorated. Today morning (20 November) it was reported that the actress suffered cardiac arrest 10 times last night (19th November). 

Earlier, Aindrila's BF Sabyasachi Chowdhury took to social media and urged fans to pray for the actor. He wrote, 'I never thought that I would write this here. However, today is the day. Pray for Aindrila. Pray for a miracle. Pray for the supernatural. She is fighting against all odds, beyond human.'

Aindrila Sharma was born and brought up in Berhampore, West Bengal. She made her television debut with Jhumur and her last TV show was Jiyon Kathi where her co-star was Somraj Maity. The versatile actress returned to her acting world after defeating cancer two times. She was seen as Anirban Chakraborti's daughter in the Zee Bangla Cinema Original film 'Bhole Baba Par Karega'. She was very healthy for the past few months. Aindrila was also seen in an important role in the 'Bhaagad' series where her co-star was Sabyasachi Chowdhury.
