Actor-Producer Dev announces his next 'Byomkesh Durgo Rahasya'

Once again Tollywood heartthrob Dev has made headlines with his film announcement. We were all excited for Dev-starrer Bagha Jatin, the much-awaited film, which is yet to release, and ahead of his most-anticipated film, the versatile actor and producer has announced a new film where he will be seen in a completely different avatar that has never been seen before.

This Saturday (28th January), Dev completed 17 years of his journey in Tollywood. And on the completion of 17 years in the Industry, the Projapoti actor has announced a new film titled ''Byomkesh Durgo Rahasya''.

Taking to his social media handle, Dev shared the news with the world along with his fans. However, the cast and crew are yet to be announced. Sharing the news, Dev penned in the caption ''On the completion of 17 years in the Industry..Announcing my next as an Actor. BYOMKESH দুর্গ রহস্য" Produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Shadow Films. Need all your blessings as always. Cast, Crew, and Director announcement to follow soon.''

Prior to this, we have seen the superstar as Shankar Ray Choudhuri in Chander Pahar, and Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari in Golondaaj. And now, Dev is bringing Bengali's favorite detective character created by Saradindu Bandopadhyay back to the big screen. Also, note that Dev has not mentioned whether he will play the role of Byomkesh or not. However, we are also excited about Bagha Jatin which will feature newcomer Sreeja Dutta opposite Dev.
