Dev Introduces Sreeja Dutta as Indubala in his film 'Bagha Jatin', Check out the first look

Arun Roy's Bagha Jatin, starring Dev in the titular role is one of the much-awaited films in 2023. Ever since its announcement, the film has created a lot of buzz among fans as Dev will be seen playing the famous freedom fighter Jatindranath Mukherjee on screen. On the other hand, fans are also eagerly waiting to know who will play the female lead opposite Dev in 'Bagha Jatin' as the makers have not opened their lips about the female lead since the announcement. And finally, the wait is over.

Taking to social media, the makers have revealed the first look of the lead characters from Arun Roy's Bagha Jatin, featuring new talent Sreeja Dutta as Indubala and Dev as freedom fighter Jatindranath Mukherjee.

Prior to this, we have seen ''Projapoti'' actor as Shankar Ray Choudhuri in Chander Pahar, and Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari in Golondaaj. And this time, the versatile actor will play the role of freedom fighter Jatindranath Mukherjee. Arun Roy, who directed films like Hiralal, Egaro, and 8/12 Binay Badal Dinesh will direct 'Bagha Jatin.

Speaking about newcomer Sreeja Dutta, she is an engineering student from Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Sodepur. And with this film, she is set to make her big-screen debut opposite superstar Dev. Earlier, Sreeja Dutta starred opposite Arya Dasgupta in a music video titled ''Elo Maa Dugga Thakur'' directed by popular Tollywood filmmaker Raj Chakraborty. She also acted in a TV commercial with Mimi Chakraborty.
