Witness a spellbound performance of Subhashree Ganguly in 'Indubala Bhater Hotel'

One of the versatile actresses in T-Town, Subhashree Ganguly is all set to entertain the audience with her debut web series 'Indubala Bhater Hotel' directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya. The gorgeous actress ditched her glam-look and appeared in different avatars in films like Parineeta and Dharmajudda. And once again, the audience will witness a spellbound performance of Suabhashree Ganguly in 'Indubala Bhater Hotel' which will be streaming on a leading OTT platform.

Ever since the announcement of the series, it has created a buzz among web series lovers for Subhashree Ganguly's unrecognizable looks. And the wait is about to end soon as the official teaser of 'Indubala Bhater Hotel' has been out. In the teaser, Subhashree is seen bending with age. Her skin is wrinkled, and she wears thick-framed glasses. And she says people come to this damp house to eat food prepared by Indubala. Later, a newly married girl is seen getting off the train. After that, Indubala (Subhashree) is seen cooking fish on the fire and splashing rainwater on her face, just like she used to do as a teenager. The series will be streaming from this March on Hoichoi platform.

Speaking about the plot, It revolves around Indu (Subhashree) a young girl from East Pakistan's Kalpota village in Khulna. Marrying a drunkard from Kolkata, Indu becomes a widow with a kid, at a very tender age. Her story takes a turn the day East Pakistan became Bangladesh. The stove of 'Indubala Bhater Hotel' was lit for the first time with the small savings that Indu managed to acquire with the help of a Bihari fisherwoman Lachmi. The director said Indubala's age ranged from 16 to 75 years on screen. But she will show from 25 to 75. It's a story of both the Bengals (West Bengal and Bangladesh) and a woman's journey in this city.
