Actress Geetashree Roy bags a new show

Actress Geetashree Roy, who was a part of several popular shows including Mon Phagun, has bagged a new role in a brand-new serial. The gorgeous actress will soon be seen in Star Jalsha's upcoming serial Komola O Sreeman Prithviraj, starring Ayanna Chatterjee and Sukrit Saha in lead roles. 

Recently, the channel has released a new promo for the show where Geetashree Roy is seen in a new avatar among others. Set against the backdrop of the Swadeshi movement, the teenage love story will see Geetashree Roy in an important role alongside the lead pair Ayanna Chatterjee and Sukrit Saha. Apart from these three, the serial also has popular actors like Kushal Chakraborty, Subhadra Chakraborty, and Abhijit Guha in other important roles.

Speaking about Geetashree Roy, she made her television debut with Indrajit Bose in 'Raashi' serial. She was last seen playing the role of Rusha in Mon Phagun, starring Sean Banerjee and Srijla Guha in lead roles. Apart from all these, she acted in popular shows like Nishir Daak, Debipaksha, Jamai Raja, Joy Baba Lokenath, etc. Geetashree also acted in a web series titled Virgin Mohito, co-starring Anindita Bose, Ushasie Chakraborty, Piya Debnath, and Ananya Sen.
