Actress Priyanka Mitra to star in new show Balijhor

Actress Priyanka Mitra, who plays a key role in Ekka Dokka, has bagged yet a new role in the brand-new show Balijhor. The gorgeous actress, who won over audiences by playing negative roles on screen, will be seen in a new avatar though it is not yet known whether the role will be negative or positive.

The new daily soap Balijhor features Indrasish Roy, Trina Saha, and Koushik Roy in lead roles where Priyanka Mitra will be seen playing an important character alongside them. Priyanka Mitra has been roped in the role of Doyel while Trina will essay Jhora. On the other hand, Indrasish Roy and Koushik Roy will play Jhora's love interest. 

Taking to her Instagram, Priyanka Mitra shared the news with fans. In fact, Priyanka also shared her look for Balijhor. Priyanka shared a pic of her where she is seen in traditional light-link salwar with a red dupatta. She also added a pair of regular glasses and a wristwatch to complete her look.

Based on a political backdrop, the love story also stars prominent actors from the industry like Bharat Kaul, Madhabi Mukherjee, Dulal Lahiri, and Tathagata Mukherjee in pivotal roles. 

Priyanka Mitra is one of the familiar faces among the Bengali audience. She became a household by playing Chini aka Imon Chatterjee in Khorkuto co-starring Trina Saha, Koushik Roy, and Dulal Lahiri among others. She also acted in Chaddobeshi serial.
