Actress Ritobrota Dey bags the lead role in Nayika No1

Actress Ritobrota Dey, who became quite popular for her role in Kanyadaan, has bagged the female lead in a new show titled Nayika No1. Earlier we had reported that Ritobrota Dey might be seen in a brand-new show and now a popular entertainment channel made that news true. Ritobrota Dey will be seen in the lead role in Colors Bangla's new serial.

Any industry without 'junior artists' is stagnant. But these artists are always neglected. Highlighting their struggle, another popular entertainment channel Colors Bangla is coming up with a new drama series Nayika No. 1, featuring Ritobrota Dey as the female lead.

Prior to this show, the bubbly actress played Bithi in Sun Bangla's show Kanyadaan. However, this time Ritobrota Dey will play the lead role in a new avatar in Nayika No1. Speaking about the story, it revolves around Shila aka Shitala Shikdar playing by Ritobrota. Shila works as a junior artist in the entertainment industry, and she dreams of becoming a superstar. But there is a big difference between dreams and hard reality. Will Shitala, who belongs to a lower-middle class family, be able to fulfill her dreams? The show will answer these questions.

Speaking about the male lead of this show, the makers have not revealed any name yet. But there is a strong buzz in the industry that actor Indranil Chatterjee, who played Tipu in Aay Tobe Sohochori will play the male lead opposite Ritobrota Dey in 'Nayika No1'.
