It is already known that Rukmini Maitra will play the titular role in Binodiini: Ekti Natir Upakhyan, directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. Ever since the announcement of the film, it has created a huge buzz among fans as Rukmini Maitra will be seen in such a role for the first time. And today the actress increased the excitement level by sharing her new look as Noti Binodini for the film on her social media handle.

This Monday (13th February) morning Rukmini Maitra took to her Instagram handle to share her new look with fans. Sharing the post, Rukmini captioned the same as ''Embarking on possibly one of my most challenging yet cherished of journeys.. #BINODIINI hits the shooting floor from today! Seeking everyone's Blessings, Love & and Support.''

''Recreating Binodini's era was a very difficult task. But I am grateful to my team, Shuchismita Dasgupta, Bithika, and Mausami for their research. Finding Binodini's look was quite a difficult task as her proper pictures were not available there. So, it was almost impossible to understand the material of Binodini's saree or even the design of her jewelry. My team worked for about three weeks to come up with that design and fabric'' said the director of Binodini biopic.
