TV show Canning Er Minu to end its journey

In the past few months, we have seen several newly launched shows end their journey on TV earlier than expected. On one hand, entertainment channels are coming up with new shows and on the other hand, several shows are ending their journey on TV earlier than expected. And this time, Shayan Mukherjee and Diya Basu starrer show Canning Er Minu has been added to the list. If sources are to be believed, 'Canning Er Minu' is about to end its journey soon.

Shayan Mukherjee and Diya Basu Starrer drama series Canning Er Minu premiered in August, last year. And within six months, the makers decided to shut down the show. The brand-new show titled Nayika No. 1 will replace Canning Er Minu. 

Apart from Shayan Mukherjee and Diya Basu, the show also features popular actors like Deepankar De and Sanchari Mondal in other pivotal roles. The series revolves around Minu from Canning, an honest, brave, loyal, hardworking girl who is always ready to help the people around her. Although the show initially created quite a buzz among the audience, it failed to make a mark in the audience or in the TRP charts and even Shayan Mukherjee and Diya Basu's chemistry failed to make a place in the hearts of the audience. 

However, we also saw that shows like Aye Tobe Sohochori, and Bouma Ekghor which came with different stories instead of Saas-Bahu's typical dramas ended their journey ahead of expectations just because of an insufficient number of TRP.
