'Remake' has become a very familiar word among audiences these days. Getting inspired by a hit movie and replacing it in other languages is not an exception in the entertainment industry. Several movies and even TV shows have inspired creators worldwide. It's common in the film industry for filmmakers to create their own religious movies inspired by works from other languages or cultures. And this time Srijit Mukherji's Bengali psychological action thriller film 'Vinci Da', starring Anirban Bhattacharya, Rudranil Ghosh, and Ritwick Chakraborty has been remade in Telugu.

Directed by Sudheer Varma, Telugu film Ravanasura, starring Superstar Ravi Teja in the lead role is a remake of Srijit Mukherji's film 'Vinci Da' which was released in 2019. Apart from Ravi Teja, 'Ravanasura' also stars Jayaram, Sushanth, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, and other talented artists. Based on 'Vinci Da', 'Ravanasura' is written by Sudheer Varma himself along with Srikanth Vissa. 'Ravanasura' was theatrically released on 7th April 2023. 

Speaking about the plot of 'Ravanasura', it follows Ravindra, a junior lawyer who works under his ex-girlfriend Kanaka Mahalakshmi, where he meets Harika Talwar, who requests him to prove her father Vijay Talwar's innocence as he was arrested for a murder of a pharmaceutical head. But later it is revealed that Ravindra is actually behind this and had blackmailed Saketh, a make-up artist into creating prosthetic faces by kidnapping his girlfriend Jaanu.

And talking about 'Vinci Da', it follows Adi Bose, who believes himself to be a 'serial lawyer', by committing the crimes previously done by criminals. At the time when Vinci Da, an talented make-up artist, struggling in his professional life, faces disasters because of his straight forwardness and arrogance; Adi Bose enters Vinci Da's life, blackmails Vinci Da into making artificial masks to kill the criminals who have always evaded the law with their money power.
