Jeetu Kamal and Srabanti Chatterjee pairing up in an action comedy

Actor Jeetu Kamal's career seems to be on the right track as he has several films in his kitty. A few days ago, it was reported that Jeetu Kamal has bagged a family drama titled 'Aponjon', co-starring Ritabhari Chakraborty opposite him. And now, it is known that Jeetu Kamal has signed an action-comedy film where he will be seen opposite Srabanti Chatterjee. Directed by Anshuman Pratyush, the action comedy will feature Jeetu Kamal and Srabanti Chatterjee as an on-screen pair for the first time.

Anshuman Pratyush's action comedy 'Babushona' has an ensemble cast including Paayel Sarkar and Alexandra Taylor alongside Srabanti and Jeetu. Apart from these four artists, the movie also stars Sagnik Chatterjee, Bilash Dey, Atri Bhattacharya, and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya in pivotal roles. While Srabanti Chatterjee and Jeetu Kamal will play the lead pair, Paayel Sarkar and Alexandra Taylor will be seen playing other key roles in the movie. 

Speaking about the film, it revolves around Babu (Jeetu) and Shona (Srabanti). Shona is a thief, who introduces herself as a cop in society, while Babu, a kidnapper runs an IT company to cover up his kidnapping profession. Their lives take a turn when they fall in love with each other and get into a serious trouble.

And the interesting thing is that Anshuman Pratyush will also direct Jeetu Kamal and Ritabhari Chakraborty-starrer family drama 'Aponjon' under the same production banner. And both of them will be shot in London. If all goes according to plan, director Anshuman Pratyush will start shooting the films from next month in London.
