Actor Abhishek Bose bags a new show

Actor Abhishek Bose, who played a key role in Aalta Phoring, has bagged a new show. The actor, who was last seen making people laugh as a celebrity mentor in Dance Dance Junior (Season 3), will soon be seen in a new avatar in a new drama series titled Phulki where he will be seen opposite Divyani Mondal as her love interest.

A few weeks ago, one of the leading entertainment channels called Zee Bangla announced the brand-new series Phulki with a promo featuring Divyani Mondal, the leading lady of the show. We see in the promo, the protagonist Phulki (Divyani) wants to join a boxing competition against boys despite suffering from asthma. She requests the organizer to enter the pageant as she needs money for her mother's dialysis.

The brand-new woman-centric drama will feature Abhishek Bose and Divyani Mondal as the lead pair of the show.

Speaking about the show, it follows protagonist Phulki, who has to face numerous struggles in her life as she belongs to a family which is not financially strong and even her mother is ill. This young woman who is financially unstable but talented dreams of becoming a boxer one day, but the path is not so easy. The crux of the story is how she overcomes obstacles and fulfills her dreams.

Abhishek Bose is one of the leading actors in the Bengali Television industry. The charming actor gained massive popularity by playing the titular role of Gangaram. Besides the show, the chemistry between Abhishek Bose and Sohini Guha Roy was also appreciated by the audience. The actor became one of the household names for playing the titular role in Zee Bangla's biographical drama Netaji, based on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
