Sudipta Banerjee, one of the most popular actresses in the Bengali TV industry, tied the knot with her longtime lover Soumya Bakshi. The couple has been dating for a long time and finally got married last Monday (May 1st).
It was already known that actress Sudipta Banerjee and Soumya Bakshi will get married on 1st May as the actress revealed the date to the media. Sudipta-Soumya tied the knot at 'Calcutta Boating & Hotel Resorts' near Science City. Soumya and Sudipta made it a day to remember as they not only tied the knot but also completed all the legal formalities on the same day. Sudipta looked stunning on her special day, dressed in a traditional Banarasi Saree and adorned with beautiful jewelry, making her the perfect Bengali bride. The groom, Soumya looked every bit the dashing groom in his white Punjabi suit embellished with golden lace work, paired with a thick golden dhoti and traditional Topor on his head, and the garland around his neck completed his traditional ensemble.

The number of invitees to the wedding is about 700 people. The wedding menu had various items of Bengali dishes including Mughlai, Biryani, Polao, and Mutton Korma. The wedding ceremony was attended by popular figures from the entertainment industry, including Shruti Das and Sritama Bhattacharjee, who added to the grandeur of the event.
Sudipta Banerjee and Soumya Bakshi have been dating for a long time. Last December Sudipta Banerjee opened her lips and talked about her marriage with Soumya Bakshi who has a political background.
