And now, it is known that Swikriti Majumder has got a new television drama in which she will be the leading lady.
According to reports, one of the leading general entertainment channels, Star Jalsha is coming up with a new drama series where Swikriti Majumder will be seen playing the female lead. Well, which actor from the industry will play Swikriti Majumder's love interest in the show is yet to be known. However, the sources suggest that Swikriti Majumder will be the leading lady in Star Jalsha's upcoming show. Even, Swikriti's look-set has been done for the show.

Swikriti Majumder's last show Meyebela, co-starring Arpan Ghoshal, Roopa Ganguly, and Anushree Das in the lead roles, concluded its journey on TV in June, this year. Roopa Ganguly, who made her comeback with the show, left the show after a few episodes calling it 'regressive'. Later, Anushree Das, a well-known actress in the industry replaced Roopa Ganguly in the show. Well, the replacement in casting didn't affect the show in terms of TRP ratings. However, the popular show which premiered in January ended its journey in just five months.
