Tollywood film actor Saheb Bhattacharya, who is mostly known for his appearance in movies like Gorosthaney Sabdhan, Royal Bengal Rahashya, and Detective, will reportedly be seen in a new TV serial. He also gained huge popularity among web series lovers for her role in the ZEE5 series Shwetkali, starring Oindrila Sen in the lead role. Now, reports suggest that Saheb Bhattacharya is going to make a comeback on television with a new TV serial that will be aired on a leading entertainment channel.
Going by the latest reports, Saheb Bhattacharya will be seen in a new drama series that will be aired on Star Jalsha, one of the leading general entertainment channels. Now the question is which actress will be seen as the female lead opposite Saheb Bhattacharya in the show? Well, it is known that actress Susmita Dey, who acted in several Bengali drama series including Ponchomi and Aparajita Apu, will be seen as Saheb Bhattacharya's love interest in the show. Star Jalsha's upcoming drama series will feature Saheb Bhattacharya and Susmita Dey as the lead pair in the show.

The Bengali TV industry has introduced several faces from the film world to the television audience in the last few months. For example, Anusha Viswanathan, who has been a part of several Bengali movies including Aparajito (2022), Mitthye Premer Gaan (2023), and Dhananjay (2017), made her television debut with Aparajita Adhya in Star Jalsha's show Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasa'. Saheb Bhattacharya started his career in 2008 with the TV series Bandhan. He made his film debut with Sandip Ray's Gorosthane Sabdhan in 2010. Bhattacharya became popular on the big screen for playing Topshe in the Feluda films. He played the role of Topshe in Gorosthane Sabdhan (2010), Royal Bengal Rahasya (2011) and Double Feluda (2016). And talking about his previous projects, he acted in Kakababu Firey Elen on DD Bangla and Tahar Namti Ranjana (directed by Rituparno Ghosh) on Star Jalsha. Apart from these, he has been seen hosting several shows on Bengali television screens.
