Actress Debadrita Basu bags a new role in Zee Bangla's new Serial

Actress Debadrita Basu, who was last seen playing the titular role in Alor Theekana serial, has bagged a new role in a new show that will be aired on a leading entertainment channel.

Actress Debadrita Basu is one of the popular actresses in the Bengali television industry and among the audience as well. She became a household name portraying Joyee and Alo in the show Joyee and Alo Chhaya. Her last Alor Theekana concluded its journey on television on 15th October 2023. After that show, Debadrita was not seen in any other shows. However, now, we got to know about Debadrita Basu's new show which will be aired on a leading entertainment channel.

According to the latest reports, Debadrita Basu has been locked to play the female lead in a brand-new drama series which will be aired on a popular general entertainment channel that also runs a number of popular shows like Phulki, Neem Phuler Modhu, and Kar Kachhe Koi Moner Kotha. Well, if sources are to be believed the upcoming show will have many popular stars from the industry that will tell the story of three sisters. And talking about the rest of the cast of the show, it is also known that it will feature Aratrika Maity and Swapnila Chakraborty in other important roles. 

Talking about Aratrika Maity, she is quite popular among Bengali audiences these days. Presently, Aratrika Maity is playing the female lead opposite Biswajit Ghosh Khelna Bari serial. Prior to this, she was seen in Sun Bangla's show Agnishikha. And talking about, Swapnila Chakraborty, she has also been a part of several popular shows like Ekka Dokka and Kanyadaan.
