Birsa Dasgupta, known for making films like Shudhu Tomari Jonyo, Gangster, Mukhosh, and Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya, is gearing up for his next film with two prominent actors of the industry. Birsa Dasgupta's recent release Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya was with Superstar Dev received mixed responses from audiences and critics. However, the director is all set to make his next film with two prominent actors in the industry like Ritwick Chakraborty and Anirban Chakrabarti.
According to the latest reports, Ritwick Chakraborty and Anirban Chakrabarti will be seen playing lead roles in Birsa Dasgupta's next film. Although the title of the film has not been announced yet, it is known that this will be a social satire film. And the most interesting thing about the film is that Birsa Dasgupta is going to start a new journey as a producer with this film. It is heard that the director is extremely busy with the rest of the casting and location of the film. If all goes according to plan, the shooting of the film will start next month.
Birsa Dasgupta's last film Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya was released on 11 August 2023 that stars Dev, Rukmini Maitra, and Ambarish Bhattacharya in lead roles. Prior to Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya, Birsa Dasgupta gave several blockbuster films to the industry like Shudhu Tomari Jonyo, One, and Crisscross. He also directed several crime thriller web series like Mafia and Black Widows.
Meanwhile, Ritwick Chakraborty is currently busy with his upcoming film 'Ektu Sore Bosun' which is set to hit the theaters on 24th November 2023. Apart from Ritwick Chakraborty, 'Ektu Sore Bosun' cast also includes Paoli Dam, Ishaa Saha, and Paayel Sarkar.
On the other hand, Anirban Chakrabarti also has several movies and web series in his kitty including Aparichito, Chaalchitro, Prodhan and Tungkulunge Eken, etc.
