One of the much-loved on-screen Jodi, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta are gearing up for the next film Ajogya, marking their 50th film together in the Bengali film industry. Renowned filmmaker Kaushik Ganguly announced the film last November. Although the National Award-winning filmmaker did not reveal the title of the film then, it has now been officially revealed by production house Surinder Films. Here is all you need to know.
Kaushik Ganguly's upcoming film 'Ajogya' marks Prosenjit-Rituparna's 50th film together. Apart from Prosenjit and Rituparna, the film also stars Lily Chakravarty and Ambarish Bhattacharya in pivotal roles.
Today, the makers of 'Ajogya' shared an announcement poster for the film, featuring lead stars Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta. In the pic, Sengupta is seen wearing a red saree with a matching blouse and Chatterjee is seen wearing a black t-shirt with blue jeans.

It is also known that the director has already completed the shooting of most of the parts of the film. Most of the scenes of the film were shot in Puri. However, the release date of the film has not been announced yet.
Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta's on-screen chemistry has been an all-time favorite among the audience. From 'Nagpanchami' (1994) to 'Prosenjit Weds Rituparna' (2022), Chatterjee and Sengupta have graced the screen with their amazing presence in 49 films. Now, much-loved duo, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta have teamed up again for Kaushik Ganguly's film Ajogya. The film is expected to release in 2024 during a festival season.
