Anamika Chakraborty was last seen on screen with Sean Banerjee in Ekhane Aakash Neel tv Serial on Star Jalsha. Earlier Anamika has acted in Tollywood films like Aschhe Abar Shabor and Tor Opekkhay. Anamika has also played the lead role on the Bengali web series Holy Faak which was a feature by Bengal's most popular OTT platform hoichoi. Soumya Mukherjee was her co-star in the Holy Faak web series. Anamika's fan always wanted to see her on the big screen, Now the time is over. Anamika starring in Mandip Saha's next film Ishkabon.

Anamika will be seen as a Naxal activist while her co-star Sourav Das playing a role of a Maoism leader character. Ishkabon also stars Kharaj Mukherjee, Arindam Ganguly, Sumit Ganguly, Pushpta Mukherjee. Ishkabon is an action thriller movie, based on a political drama on the Maoism issue in Bengal which gets more difficult later. The film shows a love triangle between Maoism with his second commando officer Anamika and a CRPF Jawan.
