Recently Parambrata Chattopadhyay launched his self-directed film Abhijaan's Teaser which is Soumitra Chatterjee's biopic film. There is no doubt that Soumitra Chatterjee was a genius and the womb of the Bengali film industry. But unfortunately, we have lost him on November 15 due to his physical illness. Based on Soumitra Chatterjee's journey of life, actor, director Parambrata Chattopadhyay making a film with the name Abhijan. Parambrata will be seen in an interesting role along with directing the movie.

Jisshu Sengupta playing young Soumitra Chatterjee's character. Soumitra Chatterjee also stars in the film. Parambrata released the Teaser of Abhijaan in remembrance of the versatile actor Soumitra Chatterjee's memory on his 86th birth anniversary.   

In the Teaser we see, Soumitra Chatterjee speaking about his hard work, struggle, and criticism that he has been faced in his past. A part of the Teaser shows Satyajit Ray which makes Teaser more interesting.

Talking about this film Jisshu Sengupta said 'It was a very challenging character to me. The most difficult thing was playing Soumitra Chattapadhyay's character in front of him and portrayed his character on screen. Though there is no scene in the film with Soumitra Sir and me together. But he is a part of the film and the most important character. I was surprised when Soumitra sir called me and told me that he wanted me to play his role.
