Indrani Chakraborty making her directional debut with Chhaad. Chhaad means Terrace which signifies liberation or freedom. In nowadays, apartments are growing smaller and smaller and balconies are becoming a luxury, the need for some personal space close to nature is felt all the more. Director Indrani said I am proud that NFDC (National Film Development Corporation) has supported my first job. Chhaad movie features Paoli Dam, Rahul Banerjee, and Rajnandi Paul with other actors. The film will be shot in and around Kolkata.

Paoli Dam said it's a great honor to work with NFDC (National Film Development Corporation). I grew up watching legendary filmmakers like Satyajit Ray, Mrinal Sen from my childhood. Today, it feels good to think that I have also got the opportunity to work where the legends have been established. It's really great honor to me.
