The state government announced the complete lockdown from tomorrow (16th May 2021). The West Bengal government has announced some strict rules to prevent the epidemic. All the schools, colleges, private offices will remain closed for the next 15 days. Also, all the local trains, buses, and metro services will remain closed. The markets will remain open from 7.00 am to 10.00 am. The Tollywood industry was not left out either. However, no official information has been received from the Tollywood industry yet.

But, as per the instructions of the state government and from various news channels, it is clear that the shooting of all serials and movies will be stopped. Dubbing Studios will also remain closed.

Now a question will arise in everybody's mind that will they be able to watch fresh episodes anymore? or some old tv series will be telecast as last year?

No. this time it will not happen. The serial makers have stored several episodes to maintain the situation. So viewers will be able to watch fresh episodes in the upcoming days. If the lockdown goes extend then the old episodes might be telecast. If we talk about new serials, there is no possibility of starting new serials now. There is no possibility of starting a new serial until the situation goes normal.

Last year, the makers stopped the shooting before lockdown. But this time the situation is worse. Whether it is film or TV serials, Many artists in the industry have been affected by the virus. Many actors, technicians, producers, directors have been infected by this virus. The industry has lost many talented artists.
