Parambrata Chatterjee and Madhumita Sarcar Starrer film Tangra Blues will be Streaming on hoichoi Ott platform from 14th May 2021. The film was released in theaters on 15th April of 2021. After completing one month the makers have decided to release it on Ott. Tangra Blues film is directed by Supriyo Sen and produces by Parambrata Chatterjee himself in associate with Shree Venkatesh Films. Parambrata Chatterjee played the role of music band leader Sanjib Mondal while her co-star Madhumita Sarcar was seen as a music-maker named Joyee. Tangra Blues also features Rishav Basu, Samiul Alam, Oishani Dey, and Atmadeep Ghosh.

Tangra Blues is a musical-thriller film. The story of the film revolves around Sanjib Mondal (Parambrata Chatterjee) and Joyee (Madhumita Sarcar). Sanjib Mondal is a leader of a music band in slum of Kolkata and on the other hand, Joyee shifted to her father's house in Kolkata. A slum kid attracted Joyee by his performance who belongs to the music band. Joyee joins the band and starts their musical journey and fight for a bright future in the shadow of gang wars.

National Award winner director Supriyo Sen shot the film in Kolkata. The film touched the hearts of the audience. The new pair of Parambrata and Madhumita has captivated the audience. Tangra Blues film received 8.3 IMDb rating which indicates that the film is one of the most watches films. Also, The film got 2.3 stars out of 5 stars on Times Of India, and 93% of Google users liked the film.
