Nusrat Jahan Controversy: What actually happened ?

Nusrat Jahan has become the news headline for the last few days. Sometimes it is about the relationship with actor Yash Dasgupta, sometimes it is because of her married life. There is also another rumor going on for a few days that she going to be a mother. So far it was just a rumor. Eventually, the rumors came to an end. A picture of Nusrat's baby bump surfaced in the media on Friday.

When rumors are circulating about Nusrat, Nusrat Jahan decides to open her mouth. On 10th June Nusrat Jahan released a statement where she mentions that her marriage with Nikhil Jain is not legal. She was in a live-in relationship with Nikhil Jain. Nusrat Jahan said' since it was an interfaith marriage, it requires validation under the Special Marriage Act in India, which didn't happen. As per court of Law, it's not marriage . Since this is not a legal marriage, there is no need for divorce, and I'm already separated. Nusrat Jahan further said that Nikhil Jain had taken money from her bank accounts without her consent and knowledge. Besides, Nikhil's family has some of her expensive jewelry.

Nikhil Jain did not remain silent on this allegation of Nusrat Jahan.Nikhil Jain has countered Nusrat Jahan.He also issued a notice and mentioned that 'i proposed to merry Nusrat which she gladly accepted and we went for a destination marriage at Bodrum, Turkey in June 2019 followed by a reception at Kolkata. I devoted all my time and resources to being a faithful and responsible husband. Friends , family, and people close to us know everything what I did for her. however, within a short period, she changed her attitude towards married life with me.

Since August 2020 during the shooting of a film, my wife's behavior started changing towards me. During our stay together I requested her on number of occasions to get married registered but she avoided my requests. On November 5, 2020, she left my flat with her personal valuable papers and documents and shifted to her Ballygunge flat, and thereafter we never stayed together being a husband-wife. The rest of her personal belongings along with the documents (It returns etc) were also sent to her shortly after shifting.

After marriage, to get her released from the heavy interest burden of a home loan,I had the same liquidated by transferring money from my family accounts to her accounts, on understanding that she would return the same shortly by installments and as and when funds are available. Any money transfers made by her from her account to my family account were repayments of the loan which I gave in good faith. Considerable amount is still due to be paid. My family has only given with both arms to her in the capacity of a daughter, not knowing , we would see this day.

Only time will tell us who is guilty and who is innocent. But the news of getting pregnant is more harassing. Nikhil Jain has made it clear that this child cannot be his. The only suspicion among fans is that the picture could be a part of any film. Although Nusrat Jahan herself did not say anything about her pregnancy.
