Bengali Tv actress Sudipta Banerjee will be seen in Raajhorshee De's next film 'Maya'. Sudipta will play an important character in the film. She will be seen as a bar dancer named Mahi who was trafficked at a very young age.

Bangladeshi actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila is going to make her debut in Tollywood with this film. Actress Mithila will play the lead role as Maya. The film has a strong cast with a number of popular actors. Apart from Mithila and Sudipta the film also stars Kamaleswar Mukherjee, Gourab Chatterjee, Rahul Banerjee, Tanushree Chakraborty, Devlina Kumar, Koneeca Banerjee, and Ranita Das.

The story of the film revolves around Maya playing by Rafiath Rashid Mithila. The film is based on William Shakespeare's Macbeth that belongs to a dark thriller. where actress Tanushree Chakraborty will be seen as lady Macbeth.

The team of the film 'Maya' has already started the shooting for the film. The film will be shot in and around Kolkata. This is the second time Sudipta Banerjee working with Raajhorshee De. Earlier, She has acted in Raajhorshee De-directed film Birpurush where her co-stars were Swastika Mukherjee, Anirban Bhattacharya.
