Release Date of Birsa Dasgupta's thriller film 'Mukhosh' has been announced

The West Bengal government has announced that all cinema halls in the state can operate with 50% seating capacity, with proper COVID protocols at the place. So the film production houses are also preparing to release their upcoming films. Many production houses have multiple movies that have not been released due to the lockdown. After getting permission to operate the cinema halls, SVF production is going to release their new thriller film 'Mukhosh' directed by Birsa Dasgupta. Initially, the name of the film was Psycho but later it was changed to 'Mukhosh'.The trailer of the film was released a few days ago though the release date was not announced then. It was only reported that the movie would be released in August. But now the release date of the movie has been announced. Birsa Dasgupta's new thriller film 'Mukhosh' releasing 19th August in theatres.

Mukhosh film has a strong cast including Anirban Bhattacharya, Chandrayee Ghosh, Anirban Chakraborti, Koushik Sen, and Payel Dey in the pivotal roles. The story revolves around some ongoing murders in Kolkata city. Someone has started a game of brutal murder wearing a certain mask where the police are no exception. Chandrayee Ghosh and Anirban Chakraborti will be seen as police officers in the film. Actress Chandrayee Ghosh playing the role of an IAS officer named Kaberi Bose who takes the challenge to solve the murder mystery. Anirban Bhattacharya will be seen as a criminologist who helps the police to solve the mystery. The film has already created a buzz among film lovers since its announcement and is now ready to hit the theaters from 19th August 2021.
