Anamika Chakraborty who is popular for playing Hiya on the small screen will play the lead role on the big screen. She will be seen as a Naxal activist in Mandip Saha's upcoming film Ishkabon. Apart from Anamika Chakraborty the film also stars Saurav Das, Sanju, Kharaj Mukherjee, Dulal Lahiri, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Sumit Ganguly in pivotal roles. Anamika Chakraborty's character name is Gulabi where Saurav Das will be seen as Satya who is a Maoism leader in the film. Debutant actor Sanju making pair with Anamika Chakraborty by playing the other lead character Shib who is a CRPF Jawan in the film.
Ishkabon is an action thriller film, based on political drama on Maoism in Bengal and later the political extremism meets everlasting romance. The film has an action sequence as well as a love triangle and drama. Recently, the Ishkabon trailer has been released on youtube and receiving positive compliments from the viewers. Although the release date of the film has not been announced yet. Mandip Saha's Ishkabon produced by Sk Abdul Lalan and Anindya Mukhopadhyay handling the music department.
