Dev's new film 'Tonic' Releasing this winter

Dev has announced the release date of his upcoming film 'Tonic'. Dev and Paran Bandyopadhyay Starrer film 'Tonic' releasing this winter. The film will hit the theatres on 24th December. Apart from Dev and Paran Bandyopadhyay the film also stars Shakuntala Barua, Sujan Mukhopadhyay, Rajatava Dutta, Koneenica Banerjee, Tanushree Chakraborty, and Biswanath Basu in the pivotal roles. 'Tonic' was supposed to be released in 2020 but due to the epidemic, the makers had to postpone the released date. However Dev's 'Tonic' is coming to your nearest theaters this winter.

Speaking about the story of the film, it revolves around an old married couple named Jaladhar Sen (Paran Bandyopadhyay) and his wife playing by Shakuntala Barua who lives with their son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. The story takes a turn when their son celebrates their marriage anniversary in a grand way but their 46th marriage anniversary celebration is planned to be just a get-together. Jaladhar Sen and his wife plan a trip to a foreign country or somewhere in India like Darjeeling with a tour guide named Tonic (Dev). But they had to cancel their trip due to the sudden illness of Jaladhar Sen. Tonic (Dev) solves the family issues of the sen family and brings happiness.

'Tonic' movie is produced by Dev himself along with Atanu Raychaudhuri & Pranab Kumar Guha, directed by Avijit Sen.

A few days ago, Dev has announced his another historical action-adventure film 'Raghu Dakat'. Dev also producing the film besides acting with Mahendra Soni and Shrikant Mohta. Golondaaj director Dhrubo Banerjee will direct the film. If all goes according to the plan the shooting will start next year.
