Vikram Chatterjee and Madhumita Sarcar pairing up for the first time on screen. Vikram-Madhumita will be seen as a couple in Sudeep Das's next film Kuler Achaar. Apart from Vikram Chatterjee and Madhumita Sarcar the film also stars Indrani Halder and Neel Mukherjee in the pivotal roles.

Actor Vikram Chatterjee will play the role of Pritam and Madhumita Sarcar will be seen opposite him as Mithi. And the other hand Indrani Halder and Neel Mukherjee will be seen as Pritam (Vikram)'s parents.

Kuler Achaar is a women-centric film written and directed by Sudeep Das. The story of the film revolves around Mithi who refuses to change her surname after marriage. She says, if boys do not change their surname after marriage then why should girls change their surname given by their parents? Mithi also gets support from her husband for her decision. There are many women who do not change their surname after marriage but there are also women who add their husband's surname to their surname. So are women who do not change their surnames wrong or those who add their husband's surname to their surnames wrong? Sudeep Das's film 'Kuler Achaar' is based on this theme which has different shades of relationships just like the different tastes of Kuler Achaar.

After a long time, veteran actress Indrani Halder will be seen on Big screen. In the last few years, she has been seen on the television screen where she was playing the titular role in Sreemoyee series. Now she will be seen in Sudeep Das's film Kuler Achaar where her co-stars are Vikram Chatterjee, Madhumita Sarcar, and Neel Mukherjee. If all goes according to plan, director Sudeep Das will start shooting from February 2022.
