Babul Supriyo and Debchandrima Singha Roy teamed up for a new tv series

Singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo is going to play the lead character in a new drama series which will be produced by Raj Chakraborty. There is a rumor in the industry that actress Debchandrima Singha Roy will be seen opposite Babul Supriyo. 

The initial look test for the characters of the series has already been done on Wednesday. The upcoming series will tell a fascinating story that revolves around a young girl and a much older man. If everything goes in the right direction, Babul Supriyo and Debchandrima Singha Roy will be seen together on screen.

Babul Supriyo has played the lead character in Tarun Majumder's film 'Chander Bari' where his co-stars were Rituparna Sengupta, Koel Mallick, Ranjit Mallick, and Laboni Sarkar. After 14 years, he will be seen on screen again in Raj Chakraborty's new show.

Actress Debchandrima Singha Roy was last seen on screen and become household by playing Charu in Sanjher Baati where her co-star was Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh. She has also acted in popular shows like Jai Kali Kalkattawali, Tekka Raja Badshah and, Kajallata. This time she will play the lead role in Raj Chakraborty's new show where Babul Supriyo will be seen opposite her.
