Gu Kaku - The Potty Uncle, sounds funny right! But the film highlights a serious issue in our society. It's a new Bengali film featuring Mosharraf Karim and Ritwick Chakraborty, directed by Manish Basu. Mojo Production, which produced the horror-comedy film Bhooter Bhabishyat, has announced their upcoming film titled Gu Kaku - The Potty Uncle.

The film has a strong cast including Mosharraf Karim, Ritwick Chakraborty, Shantilal Mukherjee and, Paran Bandhopadhyay in pivotal roles. The film also stars Tanushree Chakraborty, Susmita Chatterjee, Payel Mukherjee, Joey Debroy, Aparajita Ghosh, and Miska Halim in the other key roles.

Although the name of the movie is quite funny, director Manish Basu will try to highlight a serious issue in this film. The film is basically a social satire. Speaking about the story of the film,  it follows a marginal man, and how his absence can give trouble to the entire social system will be seen in the film and he realized the importance of the 'Gu Kaku' in society.

Actor Mosharraf Karim will be seen as the main protagonist by playing the role of 'Gu Kaku'. The film is going to be the first feature for Manish Basu. If everything goes according to plan. the shooting will start next month.
