Actor Hritojeet Chatterjee is all set to play a new character. Recently, he has joined the cast of Mon Phagun serial where he will play a meaty role. Hritojeet Chatterjee will play the role of Dr. Mayukh. In the serial, he will be seen opposite Rusha aka actress Geetashree Roy.

Actor Sean Banerjee and actress Srijla Guha are playing the lead roles as Rishiraj and Pihu in the serial. Recently, the show has crossed the milestone of 200 episodes. The chemistry of Pihu and Rishiraj has taken a place in the hearts of the audiences. The show has also celebrated Pihu and Rishiraj's first Valentine's Day with a one-hour special episode where Tollywood celebs like Ankush Hazra, Lagnajita Chakraborty and Shovon Gangopadhy were seen with them. Now the show is welcoming actor Hritojeet Chatterjee as Dr. Mayukh where he will be seen as Rusha's love interest.

He was last seen on screen in Sabyasachi Chowdhury starrer mythological series Mahapeeth Tarapeeth where he played the role of Jomidar Bhanu Pratap.
