Actor Rahul Banerjee to play a new character on mega serial

Actor Rahul Bannerjee who was last seen on screen with Rooqma Roy will make a new pair on the mega serial. This time he will be paired with actress Nandini Dutta, Recently, Rahul Banerjee has joined the cast of the ongoing comedy-drama series 'Basanta Bilash- Mess Bari' where he will be seen as Mohua (Nandini) 's college crush whom she used to call 'Tukai Da'. 

At a time Tukai and Mohua were posted at the same college where Tukai was Mohua's senior and Mohua fell in love with him. However, at that time Tukai did not pay much attention to Mohua. A few years later, when Tukai came to Kolkata for work, he suddenly saw Mohua. Meanwhile, Mohua has forgotten her Tukai Da. Her life is different now. What will happen when Mohua will see her college crush. Will they feel the same attraction as before? If you want to know, you have to keep your eyes on the 'Basanta Bilash- Mess Bari' 

The comedy-drama serial also stars Arpan Ghoshal, Kanchan Mullick, Kamalika Banerjee, Biswajit Chakraborty, and, Koushik Banerjee in pivotal roles.

Actor Rahul Banerjee is also going to make his debut in film direction where his son Shohoj Banerjee will play a prominent role. His first directional debut is Kolkata 96 where Ritwick Chakraborty and Sohini Sarkar will play the lead roles along with Shohoj Banerjee. According to the plan, newcomer director Rahul Banerjee will start shooting for his film in May.
