Shikarpur: Ankush Hazra and Sandipta Sen pairing up for web series

After playing Sarada Devi's character in a mythological series, actress Sandipta Sen is all set to play a new character on the digital platform. Leaving the historical character behind, Sandipta Sen will be seen in a different incarnation this time. She will play another lead role in Nirjhar Mitra's upcoming web series Shikarpur. This time she will be paired with Ankush Hazra where Kaushik Ganguly will play the key role. The series also stars Debesh Roychowdhury in a prominent role.

Ankush Hazra, who was last seen on screen as a police officer, will play a detective in the web series 'Shikarpur'. Shikarpur is a mystery/suspense genre web series that revolves around Kesto playing by Ankush Hazra who wanted to be a professional detective. After solving small cases, he wants to unravel the murder mysteries. Director-actor Kaushik Ganguly who recently finished shooting for his other web series 'Prankenstein', will play Dindayal's character in the series. Although Dindayal can't go anywhere physically, he has a very sharp mind which helps Kesto to unravel the mystery. Actress Sandipta Sen will be as Kaushik Ganguly's reel daughter named Chumki who is a government employee in the series.

There is no song in Shikarpur web series. It only has BGM which will thrill the viewers. If all goes according to plan, director Nirjhar Mitra will start shooting for his web series from the end of this month. The web series will be streamed on ZEE5.
