| Ushasi Ray & Riddhi Sen in 'Sundarbaner Vidyasagar' |
Actress Ushasi Ray is all set to play a new character for hoichoi's upcoming web series 'Sundarbaner Vidyasagar'. Ushasi will be seen in a completely different look this time. She will play the role of a widow in the web series 'Sundarbaner Vidyasagar' where Riddhi Sen will be seen opposite her.
In the web series, Actor Riddhi Sen will play the role of Kinkor while Ushasi Ray will be his love interest as Parboti. The stars of the series have created a buzz among the fans by sharing their first look for the web series. Sundarbaner Vidyasagar is directed by Korok Murmu. Apart from Riddhi Sen and Ushasi Ray, actress Rupanjana Mitra will play a prominent role in the series.
As for the plot of the series, it is about a widowed village called Kumirkhali and a teenage boy Kinkor whose parents treat him as Vidyasagar because his parents consider him as the next Vidyasagar. But Kinkor could not make his parents happy with his academic result. Later, he gets a job in Sundarban where he meets Parboti and his life takes a new turn. The series will be streamed from March although the premiere date of the series has not been announced yet.
