Pijush Saha directed the upcoming action thriller film Jaalbandi which was earlier scheduled to release on February 4, will now release on 20th May in theaters. The makers of the film have officially announced the release date of the film on their social media handles. The makers had to postpone the release date of the film due to the rising of Covid 19. However, finally, Pijush Saha's Jaalbandi is ready to hit the cinema halls on 20th May. 

Filmmaker Pijush Saha who gave many talented stars like Ankush Hazra, Subhashree Ganguly to the industry, is going to launch his son Prince Prachurya through this film. Actress Darshana Banik who is already a popular face among the Bengali audience will play the female lead and will be paired with Prince Prachurya in the film. The film also stars Paayel Sarkar, Kharaj Mukherjee, Dipankar Dey, June Malia, and Ranojoy Bishnu in the other key roles.

Pijush Saha's Jaalbandi is based on a novel with the same name written by Samaresh Majumder. The story revolves around Anish playing by Prince Prachurya. Anish is an insurance agent by profession who always tries to be honest with his company and client. But later he faces the harsh reality of the corrupt society and falls into a trap of deception, blackmail, and murder. He gets only 72 hours to survive where he has to choose between death and corruption. What happens next? And how will Anis get out of the trap? All the questions will be answered on May 20, 2022.
