Devlina Kumar to play a meaty role in mythological show Jai Jagannath

Actress Devlina Kumar, who is mostly seen in Bengali films, is going to make her debut in a TV drama. She will soon be seen in Bipul Para starrer mythological show Jai Jagannath. In the series, Devlina will portray the character of Padmini, also known as Padmavati. Padmavati was a devdasi who devoted her life to Lord Jagannath. In the series, Devlina will also be seen in dance sequences as well as acting. She will start shooting for the show very soon, audience will be able to her on the show from next week.

A few days ago, Dutta and Bouma fame actress Titiksha Das has joined the cast. She is seen as Maa Lakshmi in the show where actor Bipul Patra plays the titular role and Lord Krishna as well.  Well, by welcoming Devlina Kumar, the upcoming episodes of the show will be more interesting. Although she will not be seen in the show for a long time.

'I was offered to act on television multiple times. But I could not say yes due to my busy schedule. Since I teach in a college, I can't work continuously. That is why I mostly works in films and web series. In the serial, my character will be seen for two months, so I agreed to the show. Besides, I am also a devotee of Jagannath, That's why I could not say no to the show' said Devlina Kumar.
