Om Sahani and Devlina Kumar to star in Rik Chatterjee's thriller film Clown

Om Sahani and Devlina Kumar will be seen together again on big screen. Earlier, Om and Devlina were seen together in a song titled 'Rangabati' of Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy directed film Gotro. The song becomes a smash hit among Bengali audiences with 132 million-plus views on Youtube. Once again the Rangabati Jodi will be seen on screen although they will not be paired with each other this time. Devlina Kumar and Om Sahani will be seen in Rik Chatterjee directed film Clown where they will be paired as siblings. Apart from  Om and Devlina, the film also stars Indranil Chowdhury and Basudeb Mukherjee in other key roles.

Clown is a thriller film that highlights a part of today's society. We all have both bright and dark aspects of life. Or there is no such thing as black and white. When the level of unjust oppression reaches its peak, the hidden clown comes out which is representative of evil.  The story of Rik Chatterjee's film Clown is based on such context.

Speaking about the film, it revolves around Om Sahani's character where he will be seen as an ordinary man whose life has always been unjust. Her sister has been raped and her mother was tortured. Due to all this, his black side or evil clown comes out and he takes revenge.

Om Sahani is also starring in Ayan Dey's film Bhoy Peo Na where he paired with Srabanti Chatterjee for the first time. 'Bhoy Peo Na' is a horror genre film where Srabanti and Om will be seen as a married couple. The film is awaiting release.
