Sandip Ray starts shooting for Hatyapuri in June

Finally, director Sandip Ray brought good news for Feluda fans. One of the most anticipated films from the Feluda franchise will soon be seen in theaters. Since the announcement of the film, the fans were curious to know who will be Feluda in Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri. Meanwhile, Tota Roy Chowdhury has created a craze among fans in Feluda Avatar. But director Sandip Ray wanted to cast Indraneil Sengupta as Feluda in his Faluda franchise film. Later director Sandip Ray had to shelve the film as the producer of the film did not agree with him about the casting of the film. 

However, director Sandip Ray joined hands with another producer to make his film Hatyapuri. The director will start shooting for the film in the next month where Indraneil Sengupta will be seen as Feluda and Abhijeet Guha will play the role of Jatayu aka Lalmohan Ganguly. 'Shadow Films' and 'Ghosal Media And Entertainment' are the new banner of Sandip Ray's Hatyapuri. Producer Anjan Ghoshal said that he always wanted to make a film with Sandip Ray on the Feluda franchise.  However, it has not been possible so far due to the agreement with SVF. But now it's possible.

Director Sandip Ray wants to unfold the mystery of Hatyapuri this December. He will start shooting for the film next month in Kolkata and then he will fly with the cast to Puri for the rest of the shooting of the film. Besides direction, he will also handle the music department of the film while Soumik Haldar will be in charge of cinematography.
